No updated to September Android patches this time?
[deleted] The September patch isn't out quite yet. It doesn't release till the 5th.
[deleted] It's only been September for two days.
greenmonster not me so far
greenmonster Mine seems fine... P7P...
Is it just me?
Pixel 6
Display issue is a common issue since eons. I think is not GOS related
The WLAN issue is due to the GOS servers, that has problems these days
Anyone getting location service issues. Since the restart this morning, location can't be located on any app, but the services appear to be enabled.
Pixel 7a
OSMand and Vanadium are what I'm testing with.
kindgear6441 Anyone getting location service issues.
There haven't been any other reports of that, and I'm getting location fine on this GrapheneOS device running 2023090200. Are you outside when requesting location?
i had the wlan warning once (limited network)
I got it also once at my home wifi with P7. It claimed that the connection might be limited. I just confirmed the warning and internet connection worked. Honestly I can't say for sure if it used WiFi or mobile data in that case.
Never got that warning before and since this single occurrence it didn't came again.
Didn't faced any other issues with that release, works fine as usual. Thanks a lot for all the efforts!
Yay, this update corrected the fingerprint issue for me!
Now I can just enjoy myself unlocking my phone seamlessly before the next update breaks it again, lol

I'm also getting issues with location service. But not with OSMand, that works fine. I'm having issues with my smartwatch. In the couple days since this GOS update, the weather widget on my Samsung Gear watch face hasn't been able to update. It normally fetches its updates from OpenWeatherMap. (I already checked the basics; there's no connectivity issues between phone and watch, there's no issues with phone's connectivity to OpenWeatherMap servers, and it's not an issue related to VPN or DNS. I restarted the watch, cleared its cache, uninstalled & reinstalled the watchface, restarted my phone, ensured the Samsung Wearables app on the phone had all its Permissions.) And the weird thing, is, the watch's dedicated Samsung Weather app does still get accurate updates. It's just the generic watch face that can't connect. And considering all the internet connectivity checks out, I figure it's probably something related to location info.
Did this GOS update change something about how location requests are handled?
Display is fine the last 2 days. It happens eratic.
WLan issue is gone also. So there is nothing wrong with the firmware.
