Congrats on the new release. Just asking mainly out of curiousity, when will it show up as an update in my Pixel 6a? I checked manually in the updater app half an hour ago but t still says I'm up to date with 2023031500.

csqn It is curently in the beta channel. You can opt into the beta channel to get it right now, or wait for the release to come to the stable channel, at which point you will receive it.

I've applied the beta of 2023032000. Would it make sense to reapply 2023032000 once it hits the stable release? Or would that be redundant (and I should just wait for the april release)?

gOSuser938 you already get this release. If the GOS team decide to switch this release to stable channel, you will have nothing else to do.

gOSuser938 No, the update you get from the alpha/beta channel is the same one that ends up in the stable channel assuming that the release isn't canceled due to an issue being found during testing. There are no "beta releases", but rather production releases meant to be stable that just go through different release channels to make sure they're well tested before most people receive the updates.

Thanks, I just got it! Now I will just wait for another common release for all non-legacy devices. The thing is, one of my banking apps stopped working all of a sudden when Graphene releases suddenly diverged for Pixel 6x devices (because the Pixel 6x official March update was delayed by Google but all other devices got it normally).

Update went well, the only weirdness was that the night light feature got turned off and I had to re-enable it.

teams not work or downloading the app is impossible since this update...

trebrrr Update has nothing to do with this - I just downloaded and installed teams P7P

Night light still works for me as set (10PM-8AM) originally on Pixel 6a.

Just noticed an app's notification that showed (constantly) on the locked screen is missing after the last update.
Not a big deal, just wondering if this is OS-controlled or app? I can't find a way to bring the notification back.

matchboxbananasynergy Since "When will I get it?" questions arise with some frequency, might it make sense for the canned announcement posts to say "If your device is set to the Alpha release channel you can update now; if Beta, probably in roughly 24 hours, and if Stable, ..."? Maybe also "Your update channel is in Settings, System Update"?
