Owner: Manage users > select current user > click avatar > choose camera or image picker > capture or select image.
UI will go as far as cropping the capture/image, but once Save is selected, the UI goes back to Choose a picture.

prisi: long press paste is a bit buggy on my 8a. no screen protector. mutiple reboots has not resolved the issue. not a big deal, waiting for june/july :)

      Compuboy04

Just finished an alpine cli install on an 8a purchased from a local best buy. net connectivity via wi-fi only, no sim, no issues.

    • ^ Assuming you installed your desired app(s) from sgp in the non-owner profile beforehand...

    • You can adb pull your desired app apk from the device before installing them in another profile. Then uninstall/reinstall the app from your sgp profile to ensure that all resource files required to run the app are present in the system. You may choose to disable the app in the sgp profile and run it only in the profile where it was installed. App updates will be handled by sgp as normal.

    • One way is to create a user with 'Turn of phone calls & SMS' toggled disabled for that user. Another way is to disable VoLTE/VoNR/Advanced Calling for the SIM. Can 'adb shell pm disable-user' to disable the apps you wish, but you may run into unexpected system breakage.

      • Unless a blocking issue is discovered, the update will eventually show up in Apps as a stable release. Or you get set the release channel for Camera to alpha, update now and perhaps provide feedback over in the #testing:grapheneos.org Matrix room.

        • Very nice! Are there plans to create a similar entity in the US so that it may qualify under section 170(c) of the US Internal Revenue Code to allow for charitable contribution deductions?

          • No settings menu.

          • Unable to repro on P6 031500 :)

          • P7 031500: Switching to profile [3] from profile [2] does not disable fingerprint unlock for profile [2] if profile [3] does not have fingerprint unlock toggled enabled.

          • b2cb Not a notes app specifically, can create text files for notes with Cryptomator secured in a vault(s).

          • Experiencing this also on P7 031500: Switching to profile [3] from profile [2] disables fingerprint unlock for profile [2] while fingerprint unlock remains available for profile [3]...Will check other devices in a bit...

          • frickinchickin requires power pass through i.e. connect a usb-c power source to the dongle. have several of the same dongle and none will pass audio w/o power.

            • There already exists a toggle to disable connectivity checks under Network & internet

              • p6/7 022300: Created new user profile. First launch of Vanadium...

              • Oops. Not sure why I wrote 4K 60 w/ HDR...HDR is only available at 30 is correct.

              • 120 is likely limited to slow motion recording. Even the new Panasonic GH6 and Sony FX series just started offering 4K 120. Google Camera will allow you to shoot 4K 60 w/ or w/o HDR.
