Hello, it is the stable version, right? then we will see it as OTA update. I'm in the TP1A.221005.002.2022100300

KrisprCas9 the release announcement is when it has been uploaded to the server. Next it receives internal testing, then alpha testing, then beta testing (which it is currently in), and only if it passes all of those stages with no discovered bugs does it get promoted to stable.
The version you are on now is the current stable and since this release is a bigger one it will likely be in beta for a bit longer before being promoted to stable.

BHydden Thank you very much, I inadvertently updated last night and it was TP1A.221005.002.2022101200, should I wait or revert the changes and how?

I am having trouble locating the "toggle for turning off auto grant of Network permission to package installation UI" in settings. I found the new sensor toggle under Privacy. Can anyone who has found it clue me in to where this toggle is hidden? I hate apps being able to communicate by default. Thanks!

Bummer. Would love if it was a global default. Thanks! My phone state is stable for now, but I guess this will come in handy when upgrading to the 7P. :-)

I am confused, do you want to go back to stable channel or do you want to be a beta-tester?

If you want to go back to stable channel just go to Settings ➔ System ➔ System update ➔ Release channel and choose "Stable". This means that next time when a beta release is available it will ignore it until it gets to stable channel.

Hulk Since the same question comes back quite often (with the new users), it might be of use to indicate the status of the new versions in the announcement threads. What do you think ?

              Eirikr70
              no.
              There are no separate releases.
All releases go thru internal testing, then Alpha, Beta, and if no problems were found, they land on Stable channel.

Hulk Yes I know that, but it might be usefull to tell, in the announcement thread, that the release is still at internal testing, then that it has passed in alpha, ... until stable. Otherwise the new users ask why they haven't received the latest upgrade since a new release is "out". That is proposed in order to avoid answering each time the initial question of @KrisprCas9

Eirikr70 The status is indicated on the releases page. It is initially in alpha, if the tag shows up in the Beta Channel it has moved there, and eventually if testing is successful the tag will show up in the stable channel. These posts are meant to announce a new build and link to the releases page. The process of releasing builds is detailed on the releases page, which users can read if they scroll up a little from the link provided in these posts. Nevertheless, as you say it seems this question arises quite often and the status quo of restating the information on the releases page is rather burdensome.

Hi, i have 6a and just updated to this version but i've got bootloop, has anyone experienced that? Can i somehow recover my pixel?

Do you mean that it takes too long for the phone to boot up and you have decided to turn it off?

                    Hulk
Yep, i revered it finally, after a few hard restarts (long power button press) it finally rebooted to old, working version :)

Updates can take a long time.
Sometimes it might take up to 20 minutes for your phone to boot after an update.
Turning it off during that process breaks the process.
