dc32f0cfe84def651e0e Did you read my post? 🤓 Okay. My translation from german in english was a little different. And as I posted, I already did find a working link. Thanks for your workaround.

dc32f0cfe84def651e0e Alright! Setting opening supported links seems to have re-enabled search activity. Thank you very much for that! 👌

No problems with Aurora Store, but don't forget to set the search filter correct.
If you are looking for an app with advertising, then it will not appear without setting the filter on.
If you know an app, but cannot find it, maybe it needs GSF and you haven't set the tag for it.
(sorry for my poor English, hope you know what I mean)

Still does not display any result, even with a play store link, even after uninstall/reinstall. 4.1.1. With sandboxed play services.

Hey all, I'm new to the forum and glad I found this thread, Aurora has been driving me nuts! After an MP3 player app named Musicolet. It stopped working a few days ago, and went to reinstall it, but now can't get to it from the Aurora store.
Reinstalled FDroid and Aurora, neither helped. Found a site that has the apk file for the app, but none of the new or even older versions work, saying "incompatible with this device" - weird, when I've had it installed without issue before.
This seem like something to do with Aurora, or something else as well?
Thanks!

Aurora's disposable accounts getting rate-limited, which is why search won't work. There are open issues about it on their issue tracker. Nothing we can do on our end unless they sort it out.

StevenShortly what you need to do is in app drawer long press on Aurora store, tap on App info - Open by default and add play.google.com. Then go to Vanadium and do a search "Google Play Musicolet" and open the play store link from results. It should open in your Aurora store app. Install from there. Oh, before you do that make sure that you uninstall the Musicolet app, to make sure that it is a fresh install.

[deleted] You're a genius! I've not gotten so far as to install the app, thank you! Now Musicolet at least is installed, but its opening only as far as the splashscreen. I'm guessing that's something to do with the app then.... has there been any updates to the GrapheneOS that may be the issue? The Musicolet app is pretty small and by default has no network update, so it never updates itself, so I'm hesitant to think it's that... but it well could be

StevenShortly I know this may sound funny but have you tried Total Commander? It is an exceptionally good file manager and it comes with a built-in audio player (plays video too) which is like a very no frills folder based music player but it does the job for me and I love it to bits.

[deleted] haha oh wow I did not know this 🤣 just added YouTube links to NewPipe. Excellent

[deleted] Hey Sarge, "open by default" opens a window showing the option to add play.google.com and market.android.com. However, the window does not allow me to select either!?

          Any help here? (P7)

I can not verify this at the moment but have you guys by any chance sandboxed Google Play installed and perhaps opening links assigned to Play Store? Try to remove association there first.
