Hello,

I have had a Pixel 9 for 2 days and immediately installed grapheneos.

Some questions that have arisen since then:

  • I used my old smartphone as an alarm clock. I switched the device off in the evening and at the alarm time it switched itself on and triggered the alarm. This no longer works, is it possible to set this?
  • I use scrcpy and on my old system (lineageos) I could easily enable ‘debugging via wifi’ using the swipe shortcuts (taskbar). Now I have to go into the settings and jump to the appropriate point. Is there an easier way to switch this on?

BR,
Michael

Most people here don't use LineageOS, so they might not be able to answer questions about it. If the phone you're using as an alarm clock is running LineageOS, I'd suggest asking in one of their forums.

Meanwhile I found a setting assigning different developer options to push down tiles.

The projects advice is to avoid using adb as it opens a big security hole.

If you want to display your Pixel 9 screen on a bigger screen, rather than using SCRCPY, can use dp-alt output from the usb port.

AFAIK the ability for phones to fire alarms when switched off is limited to some Qualcomm chipsets.

scrcpy works well, very good app.
The device must first be connected via USB and the network must be explicitly enabled.
In this respect, I don't have any major security concerns - good enough.
