Hey,
i was looking for a Clock App which has Verified Boot and I found this one:
https://github.com/gabeg805/NFC-Alarm-Clock

Does it really have Verified Boot? Does someone use it and can confirm that?

And does someone know if LineageOS Clock App has Verified Boot? Because I used it before and the only difference to NFC Alarm Clock I guess is, that LineageOS Clock has higher Minimum SDK.

What would you recommend me in terms of both? Or does someone know a better Open Source Clock App with Verified Boot or more privacy respecting if possible?

DeletedUser69 Thank you so much for this helpful recommendations. If you look here about the Clock I mentioned: https://github.com/gabeg805/NFC-Alarm-Clock/issues/19

He says it should have but I'm not sure if it really does. It shows in the App but I did not test it yet. And if it works, I would prefer it over Shake Alarm, because of the Updates. (Shake Alarm last Update was 9 Months ago and NFC Alarm Clock had 5 days ago an Update)

[deleted] to say first, I am not a coder or a code reader, but in my opinion frequency of updates and quality of the code are not related. Upon quick look in the releases I have not noticed adding support for direct boot throughout the update process, so if it's been implemented, it must have been there from the start. But just looking at its permissions like Run on startup and other, there is no indication if this app has access to encrypted storage in BFU.

DeletedUser69 Thank you for your help. Could you expand more what I should choose now? Because I did not understand your last Sentence, out of missing knowledge from my side in this topic.

[deleted] the app you are asking about and I am using is a Clock app that comes with every GrapheneOS installation. Instead of building a set of apps to take care of your needs on insecure device you should really look at getting a up to date recommended device, some of them can be obtained relatively cheaply on finance or paid on installments, think of it as an investment. How much is your privacy worth?

DeletedUser69 I did read that NFC Alarm Clock will work on implementing Direct Boot at the End of this Month. And I saw that it did get Material Icon too. And it will get Material You Design in the Future too + it will eventually come to Accrescent too. Another Benefit is that it get's regularly Updates and new Feature wishes gets implemented fast, which is really good. Shake Alarm is not bad either but the last Update was 9 Months ago and I noticed that many wishes from Users are not taken serious/they are not been wanted to heard. That's why I decided for NFC Alarm Clock again, instead of Shake Alarm Clock. I think NFC Alarm Clock has a lot potential for the Future.

What do you mean with " access to encrypted storage in BFU and how can I check that?
