Do the log level/viewer settings (Verbose, Debug, etc.) have any impact on device performance?

GrapheneOS After updating to this release version the app "Pixel Camera Services" showed up in the Aurora store for me as an app to be updated (I did not install it previously).

When I try to "update" the camera services app I get this error "INSTALL_FAILED_INTERNAL_ERROR: fs-verity not set up for system package update com.android.server.pm.PackageManagerException: APK doesn't have fs-verity: /data/app/~zpGx_7QWqpBHqT56LkPUpQ==/com.google.android.apps.camera.services--W8XWWBd9xunTcT9U6aa1A==/base.apk"

I blacklisted it on Aurora because I presume updates will come from Graphene instead?

SepiaFox it's my understanding that this app cannot be updated by Aurora and updates may be handled by GrapheneOS's Apps app in the future.

I dont see the log options settings - system.
      P8
      no big deal though
edit: I bet im on the wrong channel, lol

      sigh

3-buttons navigation still frozen when I want to kill an app or moving in between what I have in background, I wonder why no one else sees this and it's really annoying

Just to confirm, it's normal for Pixel camera services update to fail on through Aurora Store right? I tried it a few times; it downloads the update but then fails with an error.

SoulKeeper it's normal for Pixel camera services update to fail on through Aurora Store right?

It won't be updateable through Aurora. You must blacklist it there. It is done through the system updates.

adevtool: integrate support for Pixel Camera Services (currently provides Night mode for GrapheneOS Camera and other apps on Pixel 6 and later)

@GrapheneOS this update broke the wallpaper preview in Wallpaper and style settings page (longpress home screen tap). It show a white background for lock screen and home screen even if using somethinf elss. Not priority just mention. Thank for always providing updates

gosrox this only happen if override force dark mode on in developer options. Used to.not happen prior this update

Blastoidea I imagine you will have to upgrade soon once extended support goes. Could trade it in for a discount on an upgrade.

gosrox this only happen if override force dark mode on in developer options.

Any particular reason you have developer options enabled? Are you a developer? Users shouldn't have it enabled unless they know what they're doing. A lot of issues people post about on here and Matrix are due to them touching settings under there that they shouldn't have.

ErnestThornhill TBF I keep them on so I can keep OEM unlocking enabled, I want to be able to unlock my bootloader if needed.

There are also screen debug options, however I imagine you could just turn off dev options once you check your screen

Not to mention adb requires it to be enabled if I am not mistaken

ErnestThornhill yes as the name suggests for config it is to force dark mode. Some apps do not have theme settings and are blinding. Also ui elements of apps that are dark are white for some pop ups. This makes them black. This option shouldn't even be in developer options really. Its the only option i use in developer so if it wasn't in ther i wouldn't have it enabled. It doesnt even work right. It resets itself to off with phone reset. Reading online there's a few options in dev that do this and is a bug

Installed the new update. Everything works wonders. Thanks grapheneos

Can anyone confirm if one of the Indian payments app by NPCI i.e., BHIM UPI is working or not? Especially sign-up / sign-in.

I had to flash my phone again given some issues, after re-installing all the apps, the app now stays on account-initialised state and no sms is being sent for verification.

I checked logs, I'm able to see a lot of avc denied, reactnative error messages though.
But the same app works on my other phone running pixel experience.

I thought it might be because of missing GMS on Graphene, but no, even after installing and giving it the necessary SMS permission, the issue does not seems to be solved.
