infinitieunique Thank you for this info that I didn't know of. However, I'm not using MEGA for any private data, only ebooks and sort of that stuff.
What cloud would you recommend?

I enjoy leaving mainstream standards, love using Linux Mint and Vivaldi browser - and now also GrapheneOS!
There are several alternatives to the Google cloud, e.g. MEGAsync. There are also apps that synchronize passwords via their server without the need for another server, for example Bitwarden. I would stay away from all Google products.
Speeduser7533 Here WeGo beta version is running with Android Auto. Also Waze.
I want to perform an audit, however, I don't have another android device except a tablet that is not compatible with the Auditor app.
Is there another way to do?Speeduser7533 For my German situation I have to use a special app for it that provides mobile traps. It is called "Blitzer.de". For other countries there might be similar apps too.
The quality and reliability of the Maps alternatives may vary from country to country. I live in Germany and have tried the apps mentioned here.
Result: Only HereWeGo is reliable and is in no way inferior to Google Maps. Addresses are found without errors and the best route is displayed. In online mode, reliable traffic warnings are available, including radar warnings (only deactivated in Germany because they are illegal there).
Both Magic Earth and OsMand proved unreliable, often with incorrect route guidance and incorrect destination, and also with longer times. I was surprised by this with Magic Earth, as the programmers live in the neighbouring Netherlands.
I don't know how HereWeGo performs in non-European countries, i.e. whether it is similarly reliable or perhaps less so.
My criteria:- no Google if possible
- fast and safe route guidance
- free offline maps
- real-time traffic jam warnings and information about road closures
- good privacy policy HereWeGo delivers all of this, in my opinion!
You could use an Adapter with USB C.
treenutz68 In my case, that's not possible because I don't have a DSL connection, only a mobile data connection. I would have to go to a public hotspot, which is not always advisable.
I am pleased that GOS is kept up to date. The updates are relatively frequent. Do I have to worry that my monthly data volume will be used up too much?
Or in other words: How many MB do the updates have on average?Where can I find Grayjay? I coudn't find it in F-droid, Aurora and Neo store.
I have the same problem. Also with the new version 0.27. I uninstalled the app because it works with LibreTube.
It was useful for me to find alternative stores right from the start to avoid the Google store. I now mainly use Aurora in anonymous mode, which is basically a mirror image of the G store, but anonymous.
I also use F-Droid for FOSS apps.
I had Neo store installed, but I found almost nothing there.yuru I recently switched to GOS and spent about a week finding suitable alternative apps. I'm happy to give examples here. But maybe first write down which apps you need and want to replace.
As for tips on security and privacy, I recommend the YT channel Naomi Brockwell TV. In many short videos she gives tips on all areas, in desktop and smartphones, and beyond. At least Naomi helped me to get a deeper knowledge.
Otherwise I would first install and get to know GOS as it is. And then personalize it step by step.
I only really need the forward button in the browser, not otherwise. I use Vivaldi instead of Vanadium. It comes with numerous setting options, and the back and forward buttons are clearly visible in the status bar with standard settings.
If you don't want to move within apps, but between different apps, there is the square button at the bottom right to find a specific app by swiping between the most recently opened apps. (+ for screenshots)
