GOS_Addict You need that for multi-session to work properly. Your cross-verified sessions sync keys to each other due to being verified by each other. A verified session verifying another makes it verified for the ones already trusting that session.

GrapheneOS It sounds like you're using a very old version of Element without Spaces support.
I installed Element from Google Play Store and there is no newer version to download. What are you talking about? What am I missing?
GOS_Addict I installed Element from Google Play Store
You would not be able to view the '"GrapheneOS Community" room' timeline from Element Android app ...
GOS_Addict ... I get to "GrapheneOS Community" room but at the bottom where you type I see this message: "You are not authorized to write in this room".
... That means you would only see that type of notice after joining the #releases:grapheneos.org
matrix room, since it's our release announcement room. The notice you'd be seeing in the composer is 'You do not have permission to post to this room'. Not:
"You are not authorized to write in this room".
Perhaps getting familiar with the application may help resolve any future misunderstandings, here is their official user guide: https://element.io/user-guide
What have I done wrong and what can I do to fix it so im able to type in the room
Still trying to figure out how you disable "Cross Signing" in Element for Android. Have gone through all info on their website and even searched for it on Google without finding any info about how you disable it. Is this not possible or have I missed something? Would appreciate it if someone knew and could explain what I need to do to disable "Cross Signing" in Element for Android. Thanks in advance.
GOS_Addict Cross-signing is something you probably shouldn't disable, because it greatly simplifies usability of encrypted messaging & device trust.
Also, instead of Element Android, try using Element X, which is the new flagship Element-branded Matrix client for Android as of late September or so. It unfortunately doesn't support Spaces yet, though; for that, you can use SchildiChat Next or FluffyChat.

Thanks. I will keep it ON.
I know about Element X and I use it already to get to know more about it. It has not much features but it will grow and get fully loaded with features in the future. Will it replace regular Element when it has all features?

Yes, I believe that's the plan.
Is anonymizing of bridged messages possible? Like I deleted some messages, but info is still on the bridged platforms and replies.
DeletedUser47 I am a hardworking lad. They thought me to do a risk assessment before any activity I commence. You are one paranoid individual, aren't you? Think before you act.

DeletedUser69 I mean I deleted only a few messages, so want to know if it is possible.
DeletedUser47 not really. Replies include the content of what's being replied to. The bridge doesn't remove that when the messages that were replied to are removed.
