Please explain? "Settings: add toggle for system process crash notifications and disable it by default since it uncovers a lot of upstream bugs"
wieldersaturday I hope the following helps to clarify for you.
The update adds a toggle which you can optionally enable. This means that that when a system crash occurs on your phone, you will receive a notification.
However since many of the system crashes are due to upstream bugs from AOSP, the toggle is disabled by default.
If you want to receive such notifications, you can enable the toggle after you've received the update.
How about also adding a prompt to send crash report to GrapheneOS developers?
Not sure if this has been asked already but would it be possible to able switch users from power button, for the users to be added into where you get the option to restart/poweroff menu.
Noticed that app optimizations happened (as usual) right after the reboot and then the same/similar process in the background, visible in the notification area.
Is that the expected behaviour?
