de0u Yeah they've comeback to me with an image haha. Implying use wired instead of wireless. Excellent. At least they have a sense of humour. Still waiting on the question of an updated firmware that might have addressed this issue. It's based on Android 13.

de0u its okay. Im manually turning off the Bluetooth from unit once it connects. And the good thing is when I turn off the car off and on the Bluetooth comes back on so Android Auto automatically connects again. I've messaged the folks I got the headunit from to see if they have a new firmware or upgrade that solves the issue.

I figured out why but it doesn't explain why. The phone connects to the headunit via Bluetooth to activate android auto but it doesn't disconnect the Bluetooth leaving on my my main BMW Bluetooth connection hence the conflicting between both connected Bluetooth connections.

When I have my iPhone connecting to the head unit the head unit Bluetooth connection automatically disconnects once carplay is fully initiated.

Very confusing.

I am having a minor issue with my up to date Pixel 8 on GOS. Whenever I make a call or incoming call, it auto disconnects, when I make a call it disconnects after 2 seconds of connecting. I do not have this issue with my Pixel 5 on latest GOS. Everything on the phone is identical in terms of config. Wondering if anyone has encountered this issue and possibly has a solution?

I have a quick question and apologies if this has been asked before. I've installed Google keyboard and disabled network, my question is, if I have another Google product that has network access like Google Maps, can Maps access the cached data for Google keyboard or other Google products and upload it. I need swipe ability to type and standard GOS keyboard lacks it.

Also as a side note, can someone please recommend a keyboard that has the features GK or somewhat equivalent?

Unfortunately, this solution is not suitable for me as the Company Portal necessitates the creation and activation of a work profile, which is not compatible with Shelter. The absence of Google Services in the Work Profile by default hinders the Company Portal from performing the necessary actions to establish and activate the work profile. This has been my experience, at least.

Anyone managed to get this working?

I usually get the crash initially then it connects. I will post the error next time I get it.

I have been pressing check for update for the past 24 hours or so but no joy. I am using Pixel 8, is there no love for this device?

Not sure if this has been asked already but would it be possible to able switch users from power button, for the users to be added into where you get the option to restart/poweroff menu.

When I enable memory tagging for WhatsApp, video calls crash before the second ring. Is this normal behaviour or is WhatsApp the issue here?
