Please provide more information

[deleted] when i select voice ir video call in wechat i get a "loading" spinning circle that doesn't resolve.

lcalamar I'm not able to test WeChat at the moment, so I can only offer some common suggestions:

      • Have you tried enabling native code debugging in Settings > Security? It's enabled by default, but if not, it's worth trying.
      • Do you have all three Google Mobile Services apps installed with the network permission enabled, as per the instructions on the website: https://grapheneos.org/usage#sandboxed-google-play-installation

lcalamar fyi, have tested mic and sound in the WeChat app they both work.

Seems as if the app can't pull up a dialer?

lcalamar got it to work... Did a fresh install, granted permissions again. Possibly due to first installing via Aurora, second time i used play store ?

lcalamar Apps can tell which app store they were installed from, but I'd be a little surprised that you installing the app from Aurora Store would prevent (video) calls from working.

I'll make this now as solved. If you discover what exactly was causing the issue the first time, do let us know.

Had a similar issue - can't get Voice calls to work in Wechat - app crashes.
I think the issue was a missing permission for "display over other apps".
That permissions is not managed in Wechat's App Info screen - there is another system setting, where all the apps are managed for "display over other apps".
            Make sure that is enabled.
