Hi,
I installed Signal (6.21.3) on my Pixel 6a (with Graphene installed) using the direct link from the Signal website (not Google Play or other store). I then followed the Signal instructions about transfering an account between Android phones (from my old Samsung with Google Services to my new Pixel 6a with Graphene). The process seemed to work fine, but then when I tried to open Signal on my Pixel to complete the registration, Signal kept shutting down (I couldn't even see an error message). So I couldn't complete the Signal registration. I saw in the forums that some people had errors when they had Google services installed in other profiles, but I don't have any Google services installed.
I proceeded to uninstall Signal on my Pixel and then installed it again (same method, direct link). But I couldn't do the account transfer anymore. On my old Samsung, it's like it was stuck at the last step, telling me my account had been transfered and I now needed to complete the registration on my new phone. But again, I couldn't open Signal on my new Pixel phone to register.
The only way I could make Signal work on the new Pixel phone with Graphene was reinstall it and not use the transfer account option. So now Signal is on my new Pixel phone (and working), but my history/data didn't transfer. And I can't accesss my history/data on my old phone either because when I open Signal, it is still stuck at that last step telling me to complete registration on my new phone.
Is there any way I can undo or fix this so I can get my Signal history/data back?
Thank you all for your time.
