I know that you can use two eSIM profiles simultaneously on a Pixel 7 running stock Android: https://support.google.com/pixelphone/answer/9449293

I would assume you can on GrapheneOS too, since the eSIM is a separate hardware component.

I hope somebody can confirm this!

Good day JayJay 🙏. I just wanted to clarify to what previous posters said if I may. You can have multiple eSIM cards installed on your phone in addition to a physical SIM card. You won't be able to use 2 or more eSIM cards simultaneously, however, you can swing between eSIM cards at any time.

I went ahead and installed another eSim and can confirm it was possible to achieve what I needed. I can toggle between eSim but not run both same time.

What settings are required? I already had a data eSim for network calling over Cheogram. It is working. Then I installed a physical SIM and had my carrier port my iPhone number over to the new SIM. But when I open the phone settings, it says the number for SIM slot 1 is "Not available." I need to know what to do to get them both working. Any suggestions?

Which phone model you have?
Dual eSIM support is possible with Pixel models 8 and newer.
Dual SIM support is possible with Pixel models 7 and newer.

i have dual sim support (an esim + a physical sim) on a pixel 6.
it is not possible to have two esim active at the same time. on p6 but it seems to be possible on p8.

Sorry, you are right, Dual SIM is also possible with Pixel 6 and maybe also on Pixel 5 (not all variants).

Two eSIMs active at the same time means Dual eSIM.
And yes, this is in practice/ real life only supported on P8 and newer.

Although Google had written at the time that dual eSIM works with Pixel 7 and Android 12/13, this was only possible in theory and with a single unofficial beta version in practice.
A dubious journalist, who constantly uses beta versions for testing but does not clearly mention this, then also claimed that dual eSIM works with the Pixel 7 (Pro).

As I wrote: no! Not in practice. Only theoretically!
I have a Pixel 7 Pro and it is really not possible to use two eSIM profiles parallel.
I can install more than one eSIM profile, but not using them parallel. Only switching is possible.

And this has nothing to do with GrapheneOS.
Doesn't work with Pixel-OS either. Tried everything. No chance!

Some info for everyone: After a factory reset only one eSIM is visible and you must enable eSIM Support in order to see and activate the second one.

If you want to switch off eSIM support, the following warning appears, which you should read through slowly and carefully and think about before confirming with ‘Proceed’:

Turning off eSIM support will break the following functionality:
º adding new eSIMs
º turning existing eSIMs on or off
º removing eSIMs, including from the lock screen
(e.g. when eSIM is locked with a forgotten PIN)
º wiping eSIMs during factory reset
