JollyRancher I am.a subscriber to proton and currently use their pass and authentication app. Is this relatively secure? I know they claim it is but I haven't done research on it.

argante I currently use the proton suite of apps because I got a year subscription as a secret Santa gift of all things. Are their appa generally secure? I've loved it but if there is better I'll jump ship.

DeletedUser499 ah I see I was a little to broad. More or else everything. (Not helpful) but to narrow it down I'm looking for a good office suite app and general security is appreciated. I've already mentioned it to others in this thread but I currently have the full suite of proton apps. I'm fine to move from proton if there is noticeably better more secure options. I did relent a little and have a private spaces with google installed mostly for android auto.

Don't use FDroid directly, you can use it to look for apps and then check their source code which usually comes with their own releases that can be checked with AppVerifier.

Don't use Gecko based browsers. Stick with Vanadium or Brave.

Klingerman01 i use VLC for media playing and playlists etc. I forgot to mention it.

Its been around for years and supports almost all codecs

Is there info about what's hardened about the fork? Only seeing feature differences on the main page.

And I always turn off alternative routing setting in proton apps.
I prefer to use pwa for protonmail. Also check out this app URLCheck.

gta3 tried it does work fairly well for nebula. But after a bit it wasn't intuitive enough for me so I went with pipepipe.

brandy078 Proton over the years have grown into a sort of privacy behemoth and privacy law landscape in Switzerland is taking turn for worse. Proton are known to comply with data requests while Mullvad don't have a lot to give even if they did. Mullvad don't provide suite of apps that is more prone to general data collection which usually users go for.

I'm a Proton unlimited user, but not fully satisfied with some of the stuff, calendar, drive e.g. and I'm thinking to switch.
But it's a bit hard for me to find good alternative's.
To be honest, they offer some good stuff all in one, like unlimited email aliases with simplelogin and I'm a bit lazy.
