Many apps work fine without GSF

I have created two profiles : one for the day to day use, and another for the "invasive" apps, that require the Google services framework. And I am slowly noticing that many of them, that appear as needing the GSF in Aurora Store, seem to work correctly even without the GSF. So I am migrating those apps to my main profile.
What surprises me most is that even my banking app seems to work fine without the GSF (I haven't yet tested all the functions I use).
So I imagine that in the end my second profile will just be dedicated to Whatsapp and e-commerce apps.
Just wanted to share my (good) surprise with the community.

I wrote it elsewhere, but I used to backed up apps (apk files) that I bought via Google Play and quite a lot of them worked on my degoogled Pixel, so even some paid apps works fine without Play or any other Google things. These apps, nevertheless, can't be updated via Aurora.

One of my banking apps (specifically an identification app used in Sweden) complains about missing Google services every time I open it. It states that it can't work properly without it, but I have so far never had any issues. It's almost like it's built to need it, but never uses it.

I think that you are probably referring to my sentence that "I used to backed up" some of the apps. The combination of my speed typing and English language incompetence helped me to create a new form of past tense of the verb "to back up smth".

With your "bake an app" and my "used to backed up" we should definitely get together and offer linguistic consultations and proofreading to anyone commenting on this forum.

You can usually hold a finger on the notification or slide it a bit to right and click on the gear button, with this you will enter the notification settings for the app and you can for instance disallow to display notification for missing Google play services or anything else that could bother you.

Thanks for the advice, though it doesn't notify in the usual notification area. Instead there's a pop-up within the app notifying about the missing services, so unfortunately there isn't any way to shut it off. But it's a minor inconvenience and doesn't bother me too much.
