You may want to consider Inter Profile Sharing app.

This is a purposefully simple, native App that allows forwarding media and text to another Android User Profile as easily as sharing it with another App.

It did not work for me on GOS but I think it has for others. Author said over on PrivacyGuides that the app should still function even in Airplane mode.

This App doesn’t need any network connection at all and works in Airplane mode. The communication between sharing server and client happens all on the local loopback interface and there’s no way to connect to the server from outside of the phone.

fph FUTO Keyboard is source available, not open source, by the traditional definition of open source. It's worth noting that the license is stricter than a typical non-commercial usage license because it disallows removing monetization they add to the app. Typically, a non-commercial usage license would allow someone to non-commercially redistribute a modified version without monetization features included. They could not take payments for it, monetize it, etc. and whether or not they could take donations is debatable but probably allowed as long as absolutely nothing was provided in return for them.

Are there privacy benefits to not using google playstore to download your apps? My understand was that there are also different 'flavors' of apps and some that are from the google playstore may have trackers that are not included in the f-droid 'flavor'? I could be wrong about that though!

treenutz68 You are right. It is the case for such apps as Organic Maps or Molly (well, not exactly as you mention, since they have different flavours, independently from where you download them from). Anyway, there are obvious privacy-benefits to not having any Corp-that-shall-not-be-named app such as Play on your phone. But that might come with other limitations such as security. I choose to download apps from Obtainium and of course Accrescent as much as I can, but use Corp-that-shall-not-be-named Play for all others.

IamZorro Prognoza should NOT be recommended

Real bummer as it is such a nice app. I use it anyway.

Stephan-P Two different projects, i think. K-9 still exists and is being update but Thunderbird is based off of k-9. Their patches are being incorporated into k-9, so, actually, you can use either.
I don't know of any plans for the future.

If I'm not mistaken there will be only thunderbird in the near future.

        Nice list, thanks you!

You could add Aves Libre in the gallery section. Awesome app.

File Sharing could include KDE Connect . An app I don't want to miss anymore.

For the VPN section, you could consider OpenVPN and WireGuard, if you want.
