  • Which phones that have a headphone jack work with graphene OS?

So I'm looking at getting graphene OS and I'm disappointed that most of the pixels do not have hijacks but I've been told that the hardware on a pixel is very secure and it's the most recommended phone for graphene OS.

Do you have any recommendations?

I'm looking to buy used phone preferably $100 or less.

Does a TCL 30 XE 5G work with graphene os?

It's been awhile since I've put a custom OS on a phone but with things happening in the United States as they're happening I'm thinking that it's time to take back my privacy.

I don't like how much control the tech companies have over our data

There are other approaches that offer you the opportunity to do this. Not necessarily from a security perspective but from a privacy perspective

Recommended GOS device are pixels series 6 and above.
I don't think you can get a good one for less then $100.

I suspect in that price range you would need to look at DivestOS. Note that most or all of the devices supported by DivestOS are out of vendor firmware support. This means that one should expect that exploitable attacks are in the hands of actors such as criminal gangs and state actors -- including, plausibly, remote code execution attacks.

If the day-to-day operation of a device is fairly private, but the security of the device is breached, that may be a substantial privacy reduction.

At present, a mobile device with privacy and security is a "pay extra" proposition.
