Previously, when i turned on airplane mode and i was connected to a wifi network wifi would be turned off. I could still manually turn it on and off again while in airplane mode.

I just noticed that this behavior has changed though. Now when i turn on airplane mode while connected to a wifi network wifi remains on.

Has this been deliberately changed or is this a bug? I would prefer airplane mode to turn off wifi by default.

overstep I am running the 2024072800 build of GrapheneOS on a 6a. I just flipped airplane mode on and was disconnected from Wi-Fi.

overstep Are any developer options enabled, such as wireless debugging?

overstep as far i know it is a feature. When you turn wifi on at airplan mode then at next time wifi will be on. Turn wifi off in airplane mode and then at next time wifi eill be off.

Szuwi is correct. This is a feature introduced a few months ago. If you enable Airplane mode and enable Wi-Fi, the next time you enable Airplane mode, the OS will remember your previous preferences and will keep Wi-Fi enabled.

Ah ok. Seems like a slightly odd feature to me. I think i would prefer consistent behavior. But anyway ill manage. Thanks for explaining the behavior.
