Somehow I can't get Bitwarden Autofill to work in Vanadium or Brave. It never gives me the option to fill in any login fields. It worked for me back on Stock Android using Brave. Maybe I'm using a wrong setting somewhere, can I fix this somehow?
Bitwarden not working in Vanadium / Brave
BHydden it doesn't work properly. It just allows you to jump to the app and then copy the data. That you then have to manually switch back to vanadium and paste it.
I'm 99% sure it used to work perfectly where it would autofill but stopped when android 13 was released.
It works for me. To write this message I just had to log in and used bitwarden for it with autofill.
onyourbikes works perfectly for me too not sure what your problem is
Same here. Works perfectly !
I have the same problem. To my knowledge Bitwarden autofill doesn't work on brave and vanadium without accessibility services enabled which are a security risk. It works however on bromite without the need of accessibility on.
Sorry for asking, might not be the right thread, but wanted to know anyway :)
What is the 'security risk' with accessibility services enabled? I have it enabled?
Thanks!
the vast permissions and control that accessibility has on the phone
There is some problem with password managers and Chromium browsers.
It does support them but not via the native autofill support in the OS. Chromium and therefore also Vanadium currently only support the Play services autofill library. It would be nice to get this resolved upstream in Chromium instead of maintaining it ourselves.

Apart from this, lack of auto-fill makes users more exposed to phishing attacks
FYI, when using firefox there are no problems with autofill using KeepassDX nor with Bitwarden
spiral brave for android doesn't support inline autofill. Its on them

mer1od9 no, use chrome and Google password manager!
