Hello
Is it a good idea to buy directly Pixel 7 before prices goes up or to wait until the GrapheneOS build is confirmed to buy it ?
Thanks

I don't understand. There will be GrapheneOS (GOS) builds for Pixel 7 / Pixel 7 Pro. The fundraising goal to purchase the phones for development/testing was met. Reportedly, GOS builds for P6 / P6 Pro were available about a month after the phones were released and this time turnaround is expected to be faster. Perhaps a week or two after release day — Oct 13th.
if the p6 was any indication, ordering later may incur delays in delivery due to supply chain restock and holiday shipping. ymmv, i ordered on day 1.
Same, I ordered day one, and mine arrived today.
I also received mine yesterday and don't forget the preorder bundles
Kryptos Pixel 7 chip looks really similar to Pixel 6 one so it may not take too much time. I honestly would prefer buying it now before price goes up and wait for GrapheneOS to be relased
Is there any main location for updates about the Pixel 7? I haven't used GOS before, but I bought a P7 for this purpose. I can't find any Pixel7 tags on the forum yet.
Foxah Pixel 7 support is a work in progress. Probably starting today. Google uploaded the AOSP source code supporting Pixel 7 some time last night (i.e., it wasn't uploaded when I went to bed, but appears to be now).
When its ready, you'll see some announcements in this forum. Pixel 6 took several weeks. Pixel 6a was near immediate due to the fact that its not much different. The Pixel 7 is more different, but hopefully not significantly enough to cause a major delay.
Cross your fingers that its an easy and fast device to support.
