In case the alarm is in a secondary profile, it will NOT go off. I did that mistake once...

Here, add your comment and raise it there. It takes just a few seconds to find the issue. Unfortunately, it is still not solved...
Yes, it's on a secondary profile. My main profile is empty.
Oh well, I guess I have to wait for an upstream solution then. But thanks for the link. I tried to search for bluetooth headphones, but couldn't find a post. That's why I made mine.
I have some Huawei FreeBuds Pro headphones. They work so far quite well, the noise cancelling is good although the microphone is mediocre. While I mostly use them for watching videos on my Pixel 7 Pro, there's one annoying issue.
When I watch a video with the headphones, and receive a phone call, the headphones never work when I pick up the call. When I initiate the call the headphones work just fine. But when I try to pick up a call when I am already using the headphones, then they just don't work.
Is that a GrapheneOS issue, or of my headphones?- Edited
Hi
I have a Pixel 7 Pro and recently I started noticing a dark shadow on my screen when watching videos. At first I thought it was the actual video file, but when I verified the file on a computer, it was just fine.
I'm mostly watching videos on Plex, but recently I also noticed that when watching a Youtube video in Vanadium.
When I close Vanadium (or Plex), the shadow disappears again.I'm wondering, is this a GrapheneOS issue, or is it a hardware issue of my phone? Anyone else having noticed that?
Attached is a screenshot of a video with the dark spot on the right hand side.
Yes, I have tried those work arounds, but unfortunately none helped.
The app is available here: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.octopuscards.nfc_reader
Looks like recent updates to the Octopus app used in Hong Kong makes it fail to start. At first I received an error message claiming: This app cannot run because the environment is not secure and your data may be at risk.
After an update to the latest version, the app now not even shows an error message.
I sent an email to their customer service, but have little hope they will even reply.
Here is the new log. This time it's 100% with Exploit protection compatibility mode enabled.
I believe it was, although not 100% sure.
However, I definitely tried to start the app with both settings, multiple times without it enabled, and multiple times with it being enabled. It keeps closing nevertheless.

Does any of you use the Synology app DS Cam? I use that to monitor some IP cameras. No matter the settings "Exploit protection compatibility" and given all permissions, the app allows me to logon, but then almost always closes a few seconds after the successful login.
I tried a few times to login, but failed to keep it open after the login. So I decided to search for the app here and write a post. And of course, I just tried it again, and suddenly it works. Is there anything else I could check or try, to have it work more reliably?
Just because you receive spam does not mean they sold your number. The scammers just dial every number available no matter whether it exists or not. So this alone is no indication.
I don't believe they can infiltrate your communications or data on the phone, however in the worst case, your phone number was used for some illegal activity before and is on the radar of authorithies. In that case, you might get linked to previous crimes if they find out you are using that number. Is it likely? Probably not.
Hmm ok. Though it doesn't happen often. Just once every few weeks or so. But randomly, at least I haven't figured a pattern yet.
privsec I'm not using mac filtering, nor IPv6. However I have recently experienced some other weird Wifi issues where the phone kept losing the Wifi connection and even lost the password.
I have just now turned off Band steering on the Wifi and since then the connection seems to be stable again, at least so far. Not sure your Fritzbox has that feature, but you might wanna have a look at it and try turning it off.
- In Wifi issues
I had played around with those privacy settings and nothing really helped. However, I have disabled band steering on the Wifi and since then it seemed to have stayed connected.
Previously I saw that it connected first on the 2.4GHz network, and then immediately switched to the 5GHz. Soon after, it disconnected from the Wifi again. I'm not still connected on the 5GHz frequency, but the band steering seems to have some effect. I'm monitoring the connection a bit to hopefully work fine again.
It happened already a few times and I suspected previously it occurred after some updates.
However, this morning I realised that on my private profile the two widgets I had configured have disappeared and I looked at an empty home screen.
In my work profile, the widgets were all still up as set previously.
And I'm sure it wasn't an update, as I definitely haven't rebooted the phone.
My main profile is empty and has nothing installed. So I'm curious what could cause these widget resets and if anyone else experiences that too.- In Wifi issues
Since recently I do experience issues with the Wifi connection on my Pixel 7 Pro.
At home I kept losing the Wifi connection repeatedly, however it at least reconnected every now and then by itself.
At work it says that there is a problem with the password, and after entering it again, it connects. But after some time it loses the connection again and reconnects. But the other morning, I had to enter the password again, as it showed again that there was a problem with the password. Both networks at home and work use Unifi access points. However, I haven't noticed the same problem with any other device that is on that network. So I highly suspect that a recent update or some other issue with my phone might be the problem. Anybody else have a similar experience?
It says you type in "yout" and Vanadium then suggests the "wrong" site.
What search engine have you defined in Vanadium? I would believe it comes from your search engine, as it tries to autocomplete. But not quite sure.
Have you tried to install another browser, like Firefox and see if it happens there as well? That way it could be your phone, or just an issue in your app.
