It should be available for more devices rather than just focusing on Pixel Devices.

pradeepgreee Pixel devices are the only devices meeting the security and other requirements to run GrapheneOS. It does not make sense for GrapheneOS to support insecure devices where we can't provide a high level of privacy and security. The hardware requirements are listed here:

    https://grapheneos.org/faq#future-devices

This provides a clear list of the reasons why other existing devices cannot be supported. Future non-Pixel devices could meet our requirements if they focused on improving security and put a lot of resources into it.

Are scheduled updates a planned feature?
Having the update happen while I'm sleeping would be far better than just before I have to leave in the morning for work.

I solved that with only downloading updates on wifi and only while charging. 90% of the time when I am charging my phone and I have wifi I am home.

Aeon I solved that with only downloading updates on wifi

        Aeon

I think the idea of automatically installing updates only in WiFi is great. I just don't see where I can set it. Under Settings> System > System Updates I find the toggle for "Require device to be charging" (I don't want that) but no setting for WiFi. The only menu item that has anything to do with networks is "Permitted networks" with the options "Any/Not roaming/Unmetered".

          GrapheneOS

          That setting made no difference.
As soon as I plugged in my phone the update finished.
With 3 seconds it was validating so it must have been doing an update while unplugged.
Add to that, the download happen on battery power.

[deleted] Ah cool, learned something new again. Thanks for the quick reply, I will test it directly on the next update.

Was the update pushed to all devices some time in the last 12 hours? I woke up and noticed my phone had restarted and bluetooth was on. I have bluetooth set to go off after a short period of not using it.

router99 Yes, mine has been updated a couple hours ago.

[deleted] That's incorrect. The download size for the latest release is 3MB from the previous release. Why would it take a long time to download?

                GrapheneOS

Whatever. The phone is set to only update while plugged in and today's update was downloaded and started on battery.

Swiping down on the homescreen used to show the date and now it doesn't anymore. Is that a bug or a feature?

Thanks for the quick updates and fixes, you're awesome!

F0SSIL when swiping down I see date next to time .
