Did you have ProtonMail installed already, prior to adding the sandboxed google play services?GPS are all instaled.
If so, you will need to install ProtonMail and then end session, or restart the phone, and only then download and reinstall the ProtonMail app from either one of their sources:

Also, just a reminder side note. From our usage guide:You should give a battery optimization exception to Google Play services for features like push notifications to work properly in the background. It isn't needed for the other 2 apps.
