"I was assuming she had access to the router which in turn was used to drop malware onto my device.", there's no real way of doing that. Unless you downloaded something from your router that you then installed/executed
"So you're saying even if she knows my number with gos installed - it should be pretty safe?", yes, by design phone numbers are supposed to be (semi-)public and phones are designed around that.
"I use primewire.mx to watch TV shows at times, could this cause any issues or be something like you said about matching domains and IP?", if you are using HTTPs (rather than HTTP) to access the webpage then there is not really a way of intercepting that traffic.
Again, is there any reason to assume it was malware and not simply your accounts being compromised? Location data, search history, and other personal information get uploaded to your google account and can be queried for by anyone with access to the account.
Your mother probably didn't put malware on your cellphone, at most maybe stalkerware (unlikely). Again you are overthinking things. You are asking the wrong questions and in turn putting holes in your security. You are focused on things that probably aren't the case and in turn are ignoring the more plausible explanations.
Just wondering, do you use shared passwords for your accounts? Your google account specifically, is there security settings like 2FA configured or a strong random password set? Have you checked whos logged into your account/signed everyone out?
Its just very unlikely to be any kind of malware, especially if they never had physical access to your device. For a threat model like a parent thats just not going to happen...
Also was meaning to ask, 'They can access your cam, mic, basically monitor every single thing you're doing on your device' whos 'they'? Most entities cannot simply 'remotely access' your device. Thats not how that works whats so ever...(ignoring 0 days and other extreme examples, which are limited and usually patched after a certain point by bug bounty hunters)
