Is there some way I can disable the ability of apps being able to tell when I screenshot? I've tried disabling sensors, but that doesn't seem to help. Is there some other thing I'm missing that could prevent this?
I'm running the latest stable branch of Android 14 on a pixel 7 (not pro) if that matters.
this is not possible on unmodified firmware. However, modifications to some applications allow you to do this, but it is a rather unsafe way. Among more or less safe examples of such modifications, I've seen open-source Telegram forks
There should absolutely be a way to disable it. It's none of an app's business if I screenshot or not.

How come the website instagram.com (Not the app) knows i am trying to take a screnshot of a conversation when browsing on firefox or vanadium?
And also; why are firefox and vanadium blocking the screenshot?
I understand for third Party apps; but vanadium?
