Hello, any fresh news about the project of a new GrapheneOS native hardware ? Any date, price range ?...

As it stands no, good progress continues to be made in the background however, and so as to give you a timescale before looking for further progress, the current advice is not to skip picking up the current 6th gen or even 7th gen devices released this year.

Just keep your eyes peeled in our community spaces to learn more as and when further information is made available.

We don't have any new information to give about it. If we have anything, we'll announce it. Don't hold your breath on it so soon.

Any updates or announcements? I do not follow GrapheneOS on mastodon or matrix so I'm asking in case any details have been mentioned on those platforms.

Thank you. First time I hear about this. Does it mean they will produce a phone just for GOS? In what way will it inreace the security than already on Pixel phones? Any feature that may come or even been discussed? Maybe to early to speculate?

PMUSR Maybe too early to speculate?

Speculation is fine, but it is much too early for any actual information (since the previous effort failed).

Please note that I do not speak for the GrapheneOS project.

PMUSR Yes I believe the phone will be produced just for GOS. This is a recent tweet by GrapheneOS that I just found: "We plan to have GrapheneOS hardware, but we aren't willing to take the shortcut of providing people with insecure white labelled devices like others are doing. Expecting the device to be at least close to the security of Pixels makes it very difficult to make this happen" I'm not sure how the GrapheneOS hardware would increase security compared to Pixels as according to the tweet, Pixels set the security bar very high. There is not that much information available about this from what I can tell so I guess it is mostly speculation for now.
