[deleted] That's because NFC payments won't work since GrapheneOS is not certified by Google. There was a small window of time at one point in which Google changed something that made NFC payments possible, but the change was reverted. The OS does not pass the checks Google requires to be considered a certified Android OS because it does things like adding the network and sensors permissions (for greater privacy and security, of course). If Google wanted (or any other app which uses Play Integrity API), it could support GrapheneOS by following this guide: https://grapheneos.org/articles/attestation-compatibility-guide.

            That applies only to making NFC contactless card payments with Google Pay. Other apps which support NFC contactless payments should work fine.

                NFC is enabled but when I try to pay using the device the dataphone doesn't detects the device.

                Can you provide any additional information? Please provide a Play Store link to the app you are using for NFC payments. It could well be that a recent update to the app caused this to stop working.

                    treequell I'm old. It's hard to keep up with a piece of technology that has multiple types of software/applications that implement it. :-P

                        Cleared app data then configured again then NFC working again

                        Unfortunately, it became worse for my P7. Didn't had issues before but it forgets to show the fingerprint on the lockscreen from time to time now. It's still enabled in the settings and works again when I switch it off and on again. For unknown reasons it stops working at some point.
                        I faced same behaviour long time ago with another release and was fixed with the next one. Had no issues until the 20230906 came.
                        Does anybody faces same issue?
