What do/would you use to communicate between profiles?
I have signal and my main camera in my owner profile, and a secondary profile for social media apps, sometimes I'm wanting to send photos, links or text between profiles.
Is there a cloud notes app that works with photos for basic copy pasting? Or some other way of privately being able to copy/paste these things and access them across profiles?

I tend to use KDE Connect. Each profile appears as a separate device

treequell File sync: for example, Syncthing

Your file exchange is locally or by internet ?

Hat I don't personally use Syncthing, but the last time I tested it, I believe either was possible.

Hat if you configure it to use localhost no network required.

Yes I tried also with Primitive ftpd, but I was not successful.

You need an app like Syncthing that can communicate to other user(s) via localhost, as Inter-process communication (IPC) does not work between users for normal apps

localhost is also network, that's why you need to grant the network permission to Syncthing on GrapheneOS

[deleted] sure. WiFi/Lan is not required when using localhost.

I use syncthing and it works fine, but I see 2 problems:

          1. sometimes I have to force close the application in both profiles because it doesn't start syncing content.
          2. I have to disable the app in all profiles because otherwise it consumes a lot of battery all the time, it's annoying to have to go into settings of both profiles and re-enable it.
