  • eSim with minimum Google contact

As I understand, I need to do the following things in order to activate a new eSIM card:

  • Install Google Services Framework
  • Install Google Play Services
  • Give network access permission to both Google Services Framework and Google Play Services
  • Activate "Privileged eSIM management" in the settings

Questions:
1) After the eSIM is activated, can I then remove the internet permission of both Google Services Framework and Google Play Services?
2) Can I even uninstall both of them?
3) Would the eSIM then still work? Or would I need to do this whole process again (e.g. after a device reboot)?

Thanks!

    Yes.

Can I even uninstall both of them?

    Yes.

Would the eSIM then still work? Or would I need to do this whole process again (e.g. after a device reboot)?

    Yes and no respectively.

The privileged eSIM app will also be disabled automatically after a device reboot.

One question regarding the privileged esim app: Is this only to manage esim cards? If I uninstall GSF and Google Play, will my esim card that is previously activated still work?

Talking specifically about Google Fi (with respect to esim), I think the Fi app is required, and for that you would need to keep play services installed.

      Is this correct?

Snowmonk yes that is correct, otherwise SMS will have some weird text at the end of it and voice mail wont work.
