  • Brave (Password) Autofill from Bitwarden Stopped Working

As the title says, since the last month or so, autofill have stopped working in Brave while it still works in Vanadium.

I don't recall if the occurrence of this issue is connected to me changing any settings or permissions for Brave.

Here are the settings / permissions:

GOS Settings > Passwords & Accounts

  • Autofill service: Bitwarden

Bitwarden Settings > Auto-fill Services

  • Auto-fill Services: On
  • Use inline autofill: On

Brave Settings:

  • Save passwords: Off
  • Didn't find any other settings that seemed relevant to Auto-fill

Brave Permissions:

  • Only Network

Anyone have any ideas?

Yep, same for me. Have tested setting the autofill service to Bitwarden, 1Password and Keepassdx, same issue. Play Services installed. Tested clearing app data and reinstall of the app. Tested in Brave Beta as well. Possibly a bug in Brave?
