Hi, have somebody tried those apps meanwhile?
Cheers

Hi,
I'm using Sparkasse Mobiles Bezahlen in a separate profile with play services installed. This works very well, but you need to switch profiles.
Without play services the app itself can be started, but you can't add any cards to it. I once got it working by adding play services, then adding cards and removing play services again. The payment itself was then working without play services. But wasn't always stable (at least that's how I remember it).

Thank you! Was it necessary to give network or other permissions to play services?
Best regards

I don't remember that. I'm now using the app in a work profile together with play services.

good to know. a pity VR Bank Accounts are so damn expensive. :-(

Look at meinebank.de, 0€ incl. ec and cc ;-)

Hi, VR Pay needs phone permission to work. Is this also the case for Sparkasse's "mobiles bezahlen"?

Jurij So no "phone permission", that's interesting. Sensors might be revokable, too, so that doesn't sound too bad.

Jurij Mobiles Bezahlen from Sparkasse has notifications, sensors and network permissions enabled on my phone. Camera permission I've disabled.

Does the app also forgets your payment card often? On my device it was so often that I gave up on using it.

I recently created a bank account at a "Raiffeisenbank" (to have a working mobile payment) and could set up the banking as well as their pay app without any issues. I granted phone and network permissions for the pay app.

Do all of these require to have a bank account with them or can you link external bank accounts inside their nfc apps?

With VR Pay you need to have a VR Bank Account, No option to link external cards. Woth Sparkasse I dont know, but most likely similar.

VR pay does not link a credit card, but a bank card that links to the Bank Acount number
