Sadly I had to install chrome for one transaction. Before installation there was a notification that trichrome library is mandatory. I accepted it and after my shopping experience I uninstalled chrome again. Strangely enough I can't find trichome library in /android/data/.
Any suggestions? I tried to install chrome again and there is no notification about the necessary trichrome library anymore, so where is it hiding? ;)
Trichrome library uninstall

TL;DR Unfortunately the library can't be removed except with ADB, which isn't really recommended. That said, it's just a static library, and without Chrome installed, it's pretty much harmless.
DeletedUser81 I had the same problem and about 1 week later I couldn't install Chromium without installing the Trichrome library as well again. So I guess, as Wonderfall wrote in the link from treequell, that the OS took care of it ;)
Thank you! :)
I installed an app some time ago that required Trichrome Library. I've since uninstalled that app, but every now and then I get a notification saying that the Play Store needs attention. If I open the notification right away it asks me to update Trichrome Library. This doesn't work (last time it actually said that the package installer crashed) and it just asks me again some time later.
yaomtc Were you able to resolve this? I'm getting this prompt now too after installing but removing Brave browser.
