GrapheneOS on samsung tablets and phones?
It is extremely unlikely. Samsung do not support allowing access to the full security feature set with alternative operating systems on their devices https://twitter.com/GrapheneOS/status/1640848564191473665 (https://nitter.net/GrapheneOS/status/1640848564191473665). Market share would usually become a factor if the device is already suitable.
The GrapheneOS team does plan to support Google's Pixel Tablet https://twitter.com/GrapheneOS/status/1635963398289498114 (https://nitter.net/GrapheneOS/status/1635963398289498114) which may target a lower price point than Samsung's Galaxy Tab SX devices.
blackfin I think I will switch to GrapheneOS, but I think Samsung makes good hardware which I would prefer to use.
They do make pretty good tablet hardware. And their security updates are way better than what some other vendors provide.
I expect the GrapheneOS developers would like to support Samsung devices, given the appropriate ingredients (I suspect verified boot with a user-selected trust root would be a key ingredient).
Maybe if lots of existing Samsung customers would explain why they are reluctantly leaving... who knows?
de0u yeah, especially for tablets, pixel tablet has not been released yet, but I am not sure whether at least in the near future google will be able to provide a comparable quality product. Also, the form factor of bigger tablets is just such a game changer for me, I have s8+ and I cannot see going smaller.
I hope you will never change or compromise those requirements.

de0u they are not Samsung phones. Samsung happens to manufacture the custom google designed soc and the phones use an exynos modem.
I love my z flip (for the aesthetic of course, just wish I could put graphene on it.
No
matchboxbananasynergy - Can you please send me a link to Google pixel fold device you are referring?
As of Jan 2022, there doesn't seem to be a Google pixel "fold" device.

This is an old thread: The Pixel Fold has been supported by GrapheneOS since it came out, see: https://grapheneos.org/faq#supported-devices
You can purchase the Fold from a number of retailers, including directly from Google: https://store.google.com/product/pixel_fold
treequell I think its market dependent. Doesn't seem to be available in Canada. I guess not enough demand for them? I certainly don't have any interest in a bendy phone.

Yes, the design is really cool. I've always wondered how a CustomOS would handle the second screen, for example
(Just as an aside, I don't want to get off topic here).
