It's such a basic function that it cannot be unavailable so I assume that I just can't find it. Can someone help me?

grapppp changed the title to How do I enter my own search engine in Vanadium? .

evalda So it looks like there isn't a way to add custom search engines? Why is that not a thing in a modern privacy and security focused browser? I understand that some of the offered options had great advertising efforts and some used to be good, but I want to use a private search engine. Will this basic (and if you ask me - absolutely mandatory) feature be implemented in a future release?

grapppp It is possible for search engines that support OpenSearch... Basically you type your desired search engine URL in Vanadium, perform some search, then go to Vanadium settings, search engines and you'll see your engined popped up in the list.

evalda Oh then I did not understand that post, but it is actually nice and simple. Thank you for explaining.
