I have "Reroute location requests to the OS" disabled, "Google Location Accuracy" enabled, "Wi-Fi and Bluetooth Scanning" enabled and permitted Google Play Services location to "Allow all the time". Although Maps or Organic Maps cannot find me unless I'm outside. I can't order an Uber unless I'm outside since my phone only uses GPS. Is there anything else I'm missing?
How get accurate location working
Did you disable SUPL by any chance? From what I understand SUPL purpose is exactly that - indoor location assistance
unwat Google Play Services does have access to Nearby Devices. No Geolocation issues listed under Sandboxed Google Play Services.
Funny thing is it's somewhat of a bonus that with all these permissions enabled to permit Google to know where I am, it still doesn't work. Although I'm currently in a foreign country where this functionality would be useful as it's making things like using Uber a real pain.
dmzee I have a issue where I can't be located properly regardless of settings or presence of Google services. I tried everything including enabling all location permission for every application, both user and system. I even tried to reset my phone and set it up again and when that didn't work I reinstalled whole OS. It worked fine one day and today same thing.
Current symptoms are: I'm being located by every app one kilometer away then where I'm and camera app reports that it can't attach my location becouse it is not available. Before reinstalling I've got location unavailable in every app.
Strange thing is that Here WeGo maps can always locate me quickly and accurately and I didn't give location permission to Google.
