  • Most quick settings not accessible while phone locked?

Most quick settings tiles are not able to be toggled from the lock screen; it prompts me to enter my pin first. This is expected for things like the Internet tile, but it does it for lots of other ones too, like Bluetooth and even Battery Saver! This is not normal behavior on stock Pixel OS.

Is this intended behavior? If so, can it be reversed?

(If a bad actor has physical access to my phone, I have bigger concerns than them disabling battery saver. On the other hand, I frequently want to be able to toggle things like battery saver from lockscreen. This doesn't seem like a good tradeoff between security and functionality.)

hemlockiv well, battery saver could be a threat, if it's programmed to disable location and bluetooth, for example, to save battery. So if those tiles are locked, this one should be too, right?

I have different opinion and I would welcome if the quick setting wouldn't be accessible at all when the phone is locked.
As for bluetooth you can easily set the time after that the bluetooth would deactivate.
As for internet toggle I do not see a reason why should be information about my internet provider or name of connected wifi, or connected bluetooth device accessible when my phone is locked.
For me it is not too much trouble to unlock a phone when needed and change settings and lock it again.
I'm not writing it to contradict you or to discuss the "issue" here, I just want to point out that there are people (or a person) who wouldn't welcome such a change.
