After the recent update, I am no longer able to quickly toggle Do Not Disturb mode. The tile has been replaced by a Modes tile that requires multiple clicks for DnD.

How do I restore the earlier tile? I do not want multiple modes or having to click multiple options.

    Daniel89 install GrapheneOS 2025030300

Downgrading OS is impossible and recommended against.

I don't like the new UI either. Now I have to tap twice to enable dnd

guser39 my argument is how often do you switch DND? Is the tiny inconvenience for the sake of better organization really not worth the features it gives you? You would rather roll back and make your device insecure for a little quality of life enhancement? Not me mate.

Upstate1618 I did not say downgrade. I said "install" which means loosing all data of course.
Yes, disabling system updates is not recommended of course.

SgtSurehand I frequently use the DnD tile, as in probably a few dozen times a day. And, I never said anything about downgrading.

How do I split the tiles and fix this regression?

guser39 if you place the quick tile within the first four, you're one swipe and two taps away from selecting your mode. How more convenient do you want it to get? You set the priorities and way you interact with your device. Well, at least for the time being this has been made a part of AOSP, so you're gonna have to learn to cope with it.

guser39 add dnd to lock screen, just a press and hold rather then swiping and logging in.

SgtSurehand how much more convenient? Umm, one click like it was previously. Not sure why you're struggling with this concept. Anyway, you clearly don't have a solution so please stop trolling.

Skyway I'll try this. But, doesn't really work for my usage scenarios where I'm normally toggling during normal usage, not from lockscreen.

You can also add a settings widgets for "Modes" - may be easier and faster to access than over the swipe top menu.

To be clear, I think the idea of modes is neat. I think in the long-run having the ability to set up different mode profiles will be useful. But, this UI change is a regression in functionality and not well thought out. They need to provide one-click access to individual modes in addition to this mode selector.
