Hi,

I got Pixel Stand 2nd Gen. It seems charging at maximum speed and kicks off the fan once in a while. I would like to change from max speed to quiet as per this picture photo. What apps from the Play Store do I need to install to get to the below configuration interface? Even guesses would be helpful :)

f13a-6c3a I have tried it, no luck. Thanks for the suggestions though, because I think this is the right direction.

Is there anyone was able to make Pixel Stand work on GrapheneOS ans set to Quiet mode?

I also tried, but without luck... :(
It would be nice, if this would be working. But I also didn't know that Pixel Stand was configurable... :-P

I have a Pixel Stand 2.0 and also found that when I side loaded the Pixel Stand APK, the Pixel Stand App does not work.

Google Play store says the Google Pixel Stand Apk is not available for my Pixel 7 Pro with GrapheneOS installed.

I wonder why it is not available and why sideloading the Pixel Stand app from APKMirror does not work?

Came here since I'm looking to buy a Pixel stand 2 and wanted to check if there's any compatibility issues.

Do you have any (or all 3) of the sandboxed Google play apps installed? Or just tried to load the app on its own?

Ah right, that's a bit disappointing. But I suspected this would be an issue when I read

Up to 23W for compatible Pixel phones.

In that case I'm guessing I might as well go with the Pixel stand 1. Mainly want to use it at night by the bed so I don't need to think about the cable. So the super fast charge really isn't that important.

Would be interesting to know if this is fixable or if it's too deeply integrated in stock OS in some way.

Things I tried to make it work (Pixel 6 Pro with Google Stand 2):

        • Installed the Pixel Stand app via apkmirror.
        • Installed the 3 Google Services apps available via de Apps app.
        • Gave full permissions to those 3 apps.
        • Installed the "Google" app and the "Assistant" app and gave them full permissions.
        • Rebooted the phone.

With all of this, it still doesn't show the "Do more while charging" message. I don't know what else to try as other Google apps like the Google Camera correctly detects that's running on a pixel.

I might be off here, but I believe that some settings for the Pixel Stand won't be available as they depend on privileged functionality that's not available in GrapheneOS.

Got it, but I think the Pixel Stand app should be able to at least try to do the onboarding, even if it fails later. The only thing that comes to my mind is that the trigger of the onboarding itself is something that requires a privileged permission or that some dependency is missing.
