I don't use the Play Store directly, but I do have some apps from the Play Store that I installed via the Aurora Store, and I use the owner profile as my main profile. Everything works well for me. Was there something in particular you wondered about?
mythodical nothing in particular just wanted to know if I would be good with using a throw away google account for play store and have no PII for everything
[deleted] as opposed to using aurora store cause I have read that it’s is not as secure
[deleted] is not as secure
What do you mean not as secure? the fact that the apps need permission granted to function? With Storage Scopes this security surface is eliminated.
katemason I just like the idea of having only one place for apps. What I really want is push notifications to work, but I believe I can download apps “anonymously” on aurora then give battery optimization to google play services to get push notifications without signing into the App Store
What does google get using the sandboxed play store?
