An edit to this, I did even give Play Store permission to access location.

Thanks for you reply.

The country option is missing for me. I created this account today when I installed my phone, maybe be location got wrong and now it seems like I can't change it for one year.

I turned on VPN and checked again, this time it said "switch to Sweden", so it seems like my play account is in sweden.

maybe you could try reinstalling Play Services and Play Store and see if that might help? Seems like other users were affected by this bug as well, but more like PayPal or DHL (according to other threads). So this may in fact be a backend problem that will resolve itself after some time.

Unless you are the business owner, it is not wise to be putting anything work related on your phone. Make them buy a phone, set it up, and pay the contract, before giving you the device. Then any security issues are theirs. Also if the work phone is damaged, you are not left without a phone

And this is what you want, right?

They bought me a phone, they bought me this phone. I haven't had a private phone in 14 years.

          Very unclear...
If I VPN to USA or Germany I get the option to change to the Swedish store...
To me this indicates that I already use the Swedish store and when play store see that I am in USA or Germany they give me the option to use my regular store, how else would the store know that I would like the Swedish store??

So I guess I already use the Swedish store when I don't use VPN, so maybe it is a backend problem?

Also, when I use VPN there is the option to switch to the Swedish store, BUT, I must add a payment method to be able to do that. Well, hell no!
