Hi,

Just recently setup a new 8a with grapheneos but in a lot of videos online I see a option to set a timeout to automatically turn off WiFi and Bluetooth after x minutes.

Sure I also saw it on the quick toggles.

But now on the latest stable version of grapheneos I can find it.

Does anyone know if this was removed or where I can find out more information about this and if this feature is coming back?

nickc Are you in the owner profile? It should be in Settings > Security & privacy > Exploit protection. Not sure if those settings are also somewhere else in Settings, but this is where I recently set them.

Super. Thanks for the fast replies. Now found it. So assume it was moved since these blog posts and videos were made approx a year ago.

Before seems to of been inside the separate WiFi or bluetooth settings themselves.

    Thanks again

This is why we actively suggest people not follow guides from sources other than GrapheneOS's official website. They don't keep their guides up to date a lot of the time.

I'll mark this as solved now that you've found them!
