There seems to be a glitch when switching between profiles on pixel 7a...when I switch from owner to any other profile and back to owner the system requires me to enter the password for a second time or in some cases it will flip when half way through entering password.
Does anybody else have this issue.
I also have a pixel 7 and it does not have same issue.

I'd like some feedback here please as I have a suspicion that this could be something more than just a system glitch.

    Bunq Sounds like what happens on my phone as well. I think it's just an upstream UI oddity that happens sometimes when switching profiles. Like I can't immediately scan my fingerprint, but the screen flashes quickly and it shows up. I don't even attempt to put my PIN in anymore because I'm used to it by now.

      It happend several times to me, that the screen went black, instead of asking for, or letting me enter/finish to enter while typing the PIN. (It happened almost immediately, it wasn't the regular timeout turning the screen off). Seen it the last days, but never before.

        Is there a reason why it only happens on the 7a and not the 7 ????

        Same for me on a 7pro, sometimes i can unlock immediately my fingerprint, after the screen's flashes

          This issue existed forever. Sometimes it goes away after an update and comes back on the next one.
          Sometimes restarting the phone fixes it.

          For me it's on and off, one update fixes it, the next one brings it back.

            Yup. It happens to me on a P8P, same as it did on a 7.

            Now, when switching profiles and the password/code screen comes up, I simply press the power button to turn off the display, then press it again. From here, fingerprint sensor is available.

                Sounds like some race conditions in AOSP going on and off, back and fort. Stuff that pretty much sure won't be fixed ever :-( Today, once a gain, I had the notification screen "melting" together with the home screen, both visible "together" the same time. Strange stuff I've never seen before on my old droid phone in lots of years.
