Satellite SOS Feature

I heard that satellite SOS is coming to Pixel. Can we have it on GrapheneOS since it's really an important feature imo?

To me it sounds like a degoogled version would be possible, but I'm guessing that will be overpriced at this moment.

I have searched the forum, but couldn't find any information about whether the satellite SOS can be made to work or not.

This could be a deciding factor between 9a and 9 for me. Could anyone with experience inform the public about this feature?
