I feel like this is a silly question, but here goes.
I'm considering buying true wireless airbuds and therefore looking at the Pixel Buds Pro. My "threat model" here is being able to have a private conversation without much risk of Bluetooth sniffers intercepting the call.
In that regard I'm wondering about how vital Bluetooth firmware updates are in this context. The Pixel Buds Pro are still receiving firmware updates, while other models such as Jabra hardly provide any updates post-release. However, the Pixel Buds support Bluetooth v5.0, while Jabra buds support v5.2.
I'm trying to find sources on the difference security-wise that constitutes. Having very little luck so far.
(I know I could get a pair of wired earphones, but Bluetooth is simply much more convenient).
