Some things to test for users in alpha channel since kernel has MTE enabled (from GrapheneOS account in Alpha/Beta testing channel on Matrix) :

    • Bluetooth
    • NFC
    • DisplayPort alternate mode,
    • Wi-Fi Direct
    • any other niche hardware functionality
    • BLE Audio
    • USB peripherals (USB-C audio, mouse, keyboard, joystick)
    • Controller like xbox controller etc
    • Drives with exFAT and Fat32
    • Stress test on GPU, disk etc
    • Weird games, emulators

Edit : If you're on 8th or 9th gen Pixels and testing this release, please enable system crash notifications in Settings > Security & privacy > More security & privacy > Notify about system process crashes so you get kernel crash notifications after a kernel panic reboot in case hardware memory tagging finds any kernel bugs.

  • So, could it be that Vanadium is not conistentl at supplying webpage entry field information to the Android autofill service provider?
@GrapheneOS is this something worthy of further investigation?

  • It's an officially planned feature and someone can work on getting it done. We're already >!all working on higher priority tasks and there are more higher priority tasks to do after those.
