    For issues like this, there's a limit to the support we can meaningfully provide here over a text-based forum, without ending up running around in circles.

    I would personally suggest taking the device to a repair store. Sit down with the staff there, and show them the issue you are experiencing, and ask for their feedback. It will be a whole lot easier when doing this face to face with somebody who handles hundreds of phones every week for a living. And they'll likely do it free of charge.
