Since GrapheneOS was updated to Android 13, when I have Location turned on, "Tethering" is almost constantly accessing the location even when it is toggled off specifically for it.

Why is it happening? And what is Tethering? Just I just allow the location anyway?
Thanks for the help 🙏

I'm having the same issue on my Pixel 6a, did you ever find a fix? Just got it and installed GrapheneOS a few days ago.

XagveX I didn't, I did a quick search and understood that its a system process, but didn't understood precisely what it is.

I denied the location at the time for Tethering but everytime I have the location on (for maps or something similar), Tethering just uses the location anyway, so I guess it's probably fine, but a better explanation would be appreciated 🙏

treequell Yes, I checked that. There is a link to GitHub on that other thread too, which has an explanation.

You could have posted it yourself. I am not quite sure why you flagged that and waited for a moderator to do it for you?

treequell I flagged this to be closed and redirected to that other thread, which has the solution. This helps with making forum clean and avoiding duplicate threads.

(Sorry if that confused you, it wasn't my intention)
