Here's why it's important to cite specific sources: something that may have been true once may stop being true. For example, it may have been true in 2017 that some cellular phones had working FM receivers, but that doesn't mean all (or any!) do now.

If there is a specific source indicating that Google Pixel phones available in 2023 have working FM tuners, that might be actionable.

That said, I used to use RadioDroid, but now prefer https://github.com/jamal2362/URL-Radio.

Eirikr70 The claim you cite that modern Pixels are devoid of FM tuners matches my expectation. The next level of diligence might involve reviewing specs for multiple generations of Qualcomm modem going backward in time until an FM tuner is mentioned.
